Flu Vaccines 25-26
The seasonal flu campaign starts from the 1/9/2025 for women who are currently pregnant and for children.
Flu vaccination (flu shot or nasal spray) is available for:
- Children aged 2 to 3 years old – through your GP practice and appointments are open to bookings.
- School-age children – through their school immunisation programme.
The flu vaccine helps protect children from getting seriously ill with the flu and also helps reduce the spread to others. It’s safe, quick, and usually given as a nasal spray.
From the 1/10/2025 all other cohorts, those aged aged 65 or older, and those aged 18-64 on a disease register. Appointments are open to bookings and we have options during the week and on Saturdays.
We will send self-book invites to all eligible patients who we have a mobile telephone for. We will also contact those patients without a mobile phone however, if you don’t have a mobile telephone please feel free to contact the surgery after 11:00am to arrange your flu vaccine appointment.
